Elastomer Solutions is a Full Service Supplier by cooperating close to customers since the early stage of development and being close to customer during the product life cycle time.

Elastomer Solutions (previous Diehl Elastomertechnik) started in Germany with the acquisition by Diehl Group of a rubber plant to produce components for its defense division.

The group acquired competences in development and production of rubber and plastic components mainly for the automotive industry and for the last 25 years has been one of the most reliable partners in development and production of elastomeric components for a wide range of applications in automotive engineering.

History milestones
  • 1974

    The Diehl Group acquires the production site of Blankenheim, Germany, producing rubber compounds and rubber molded parts.

  • 1994

    Foundation of Diehl- Fapobol, the first abroad production site in Mindelo, Portugal.

  • 2003

    Opening up new markets in Eastern Europe by founding Diehl-Enco, an additional production plant in Belusa, Slovakia.

  • 2005

    Concentration of product development and sales at the German location, shutdown of production.

  • 2009

    Mutares AG aquires the majority of interest of the DIEHL Elastomertechnik Group. Name changes to Elastomer Solutions.

  • 2012

    Definition of expanding strategy to increase global footprint. Foundation of the 3rd production site, Elastomer Solutions Maroc in Tangier, Morocco.

  • 2014

    Elastomer Solutions founds a company in Mexico (Fresnillo).

  • 2014

    Setup of sales and engineering representation in Detroit, US.

  • 2016

    Elastomer Solutions relocates operations in Tangier to a bigger size plant.
